I hit pay dirt with Amy Studt song which is just a panaceum. It seems to be my miraculous remedy for all sorrows... (especially feminine ;) If You want - try to find the song on the Net... If You'd like to I can send it to You ;) // julia.j@vp.pl // Lyrics: Sometimes I feel you’re not listening / sometimes I feel you don’t understand / but I think I’ve got the answer / already know what you’re gonna say / chorus: / cause I’m just a little girl you see / but there’s a hell of a lot more to me / don’t ever underestimate what I can do / don’t ever tell me how I’m meant to be / you say I’m just a little girl, just a little girl / how can I compare? What do I know? / what have I got to share? / but there’s nothing in this world, nothing in this world / that could hold me down, can’t you hear me? / don’t you understand / that I wanna be myself, wanna be the girl, / wanna be the one that you can rely on / how I wish that you could see all there is of me / how I long to hear that you take me / for who I am / chorus x2 / sometimes I feel you’re not listening / sometimes I feel you don’t understand/ PS Though the melody isn't perfect, I like it a lot :D |

Hi, I'm thinking really hard, scouring my memory cells but no, possibly it's a mystery to me, I've never heard it...; I surmise this song a means of self-expression for You...? One innocent song, lyrics and tune can speak for a thousand words - this is what I love music for. And You're absolutely right - it can be a snake oil for all sorrows, in some religions even a miraculous path to a unity with God. Do You play any instrument? btw, have You heard 'don't believe any more' by 'Icehouse'? It's an Australian band and this piece gripped me for a long long time. |
